Market Participants can register to trade with ElecLink as either physical or non-physical customers. Non-physical customers can only participate in Long Term auctions and must re-sell any acquired capacity into other Long Term auctions or receive the Day Ahead clearing price for any remaining capacity.
For customers wishing to register as a non-physical entity, only the sections related to JAO, and the ElecLink Registration Form are relevant. Physical customers can participate in all auctions and are able to physically nominate power on ElecLink, using our bespoke nomination platform Helix.
